As many of the boats are double- and triple listed I estimate that the real sales figures are 5-10% lower then the above.
YW mention 2.581 brokers on their home page, but they list as many as 3.813 Yacht Companies in their Directory..!!!

All data - believed to be correct, based on the YW search engine and below YW newsletter from 6th March 2008.
YW also reports 3 mio visitors to their site during February 2008 - in averge 787 visitors to each - compared to 25.191
visitors in february 2008 to hugohein.com.

Average sales price is (EUR 32.700.000 : 580) = EUR 56.380. With 8% commission each of the lucky brokers earned EUR 4.510
while YachtWorld took home (3.813 x EUR 240) = EUR 915.120 - not bad at all..! (assuming the dealers pay the same as
do the brokers)





Above figures indicates a market almost at it's lowest and the development in page views (boats seen) on Yacht World
during the last three years clearly indicates the present level of interest for looking for a yacht at YW.
