The vessel is build for operations crusing with a top speed of  22-23 knt. 
She can easily be converted to operate at a higher speed due to the powerfull engines (aft part to be lenghted with 12 feet).  Bollard Pull is estimated to be 35-40 Ton.

Danish Navy modernized and upgraded the vessel in 1989 at a cost of approximate USD 1.2 mio. 
Engine hrs. since then is only 470.
