From 1946 a private yacht with a history

LOA: 42.70 meter - 140 feetBeam:  7.04 meter Draft: 2.60 meter
Displacement: 208.33 tons , Gross Tonnage: 289 tons

Built 1938 by Defoe Bay City ML (USA) after exclusive commissioned designs by Cox & Stevens.
Interior partially re-designed by Philip Stark during last ownership.

Original 10mm welded steel plating hull. Decks in teak laid on ply upon steel beams. Last overhaul in 2001.
The yacht is at present not in class.

A truly remarkable classic example of a Gentleman’s Motor Yacht, the M.Y. “Maha” (ex-“Bernadette”)
One of only two sistership’s she was constantly cherished and looked after with love & care.
Her past changes of ownership did not alter in major ways her interior design, which remains that of a pedigree yacht, full of charm & traditional character.

A major recent overhaul has seen her main teck deck renewed, whilst the upper one remains structurally sound (10 yrs old and
still at 20 mm thickness !). Outter hull shell plating inspected by ultrasound and serviced as necessary, as were machinery and domestic equipment.
