![]() Comments SNIPE IV is a lovely example of Bjarne Aas's designs and fine construction by Molich of Denmark. She was built in 1952 with the best materials available and has been kept in pristine condition by all four of her owners. Until 1992, she remained in Scandinavia, where she was stored indoors during winters. She has recently returned from the Caribbean, where she has been cruising as well as being extensively refurbished and strengthened. She won her class at the Antigua Classic Regatta in 1996. (She also participated in 1995 and 1992.) Although the boat has been sailed extensively, she has been constantly undergoing maintenance and upgrading to keep her in A-1 condition. US Duty Paid. ![]() |
