Immaculate interior in classic white panelling and (highly!) varnished mahogany trim, teak & holly cabin sole. From the bow, there is a large double V-berth, with drawer storage beneath and an access panel to the anchor locker. This forward compartment also has a varnished teak hatch for access to the foredeck/cabin trunk roof, and a door for privacy. Just aft of the forward berth is a head with sink and shower to port, and two generous hanging lockers to starboard. Entering the main salon, there are settees on both sides with a gorgeous mahogany drop-leaf table on the centerline. Above and behind the settee on the port side is a pilot berth, and on the starboard side is ample secured storage for computers and books, with drawer storage beneath. The salon also features a fully functional and original Paul Luke solid fuel fireplace with a beautifully tiled front for ample heat! Moving aft of the salon, there is a U-shaped galley to port, and a navstation and quarterberth to starboard, and a centerline companionway to the cockpit. Behind the companionway are engine access panels, etc.

Beautiful and big, this U-shaped galley is equiped with full Monel (SS) countertops, a 3-burner natural gas stove/oven, a large sink with pressure water system (hot water through heat exchange system), a 14 cubic foot fridge with a new 12 volt Seafrost unit with holding plate. A new water heater is scheduled to be installed.

New Ray Marine 'Pathfinder' Radar at helm, new Garmin GPS at helm, VHF with new antenna on mizzen mast, new Jensen stereo CD radio with new speakers, traditional compass in brass binnacle.

All new 12 Volt system (boat was partly re-wired). New 550 Amp battery bank, consisting of 4 225 Amp 6 Volt batteries. New KISS wind generator on mizzen mast, new tri-color light, new steaming/decklights on main mast, all new mast wiring. New navigation lights on bow puplit, new sternlight mounted on dinghy davits. There is a new 12 volt motor for the Ideal electric windlass, with separate battery mounted in the forepeak, near-new Zodiac 9' RIB dinghy with a 5HP outboard, custom bronze dinghy davits, new Edson pedestal Guard mounted over the binnacle, Edson worm-gear steering, new large Edson manual main bilge pump, 2 new horshoe liferings mounted on the quarters, new FX32 Fortress anchor, new 45 Lbs CQR anchor, 20 Lbs, Danforth Stern anchor with chain & rode, and a 55 Lbs Herreshoff kedge anchor mounted on the coachroof. New chain and rodes throughout. All bright work wooded and revarnished to a mirror-like finish, all spars wooded and revarnished, deck newly repainted, the hull is currently painted white, but will be re-painted this Spring (you chose the color!). All fastenings & straps in bronze, hull is double-planked 3/8" white cedar and 5/8" mahogany over oak frames. RIG/SAILS: Double headsail ketch rig with sitka spruce spars and masts, monel ratlines, four self-tailing Barlow winches,Main, Mizzen, Yankee Jib & Staysail all in good shape, extra sails include a Yankee, Jib, Staysail, Genoa, Mizzen Staysail & Gennaker, all in excellent condition. Both the Jib & Staysail are with Hood roller furling.


Additional
MECHANICAL: New engine exhaust system including muffler, new heat exchangers, fuel tanks have been cleaned, new throttle and gear cables installed, new engine instrument panel. All new filters and fluids. All tanks in Monel. The 'Skipper' marine toilet has all new valves, has been primed and painted, and there is a new sump pump for the shower. All seacocks have been serviced and greased. PLANNED UPGRADES/REPAIRS INCLUDED IN SALE: The entire cockpit (sides, sole, wheelbox) will be entirely rebuilt this Spring, during which time the engine will be painted, and and the engine compartment completely refurbished and painted as well. The bottom and topsides will all be repainted. Owner will stay with new buyer for a mutually agreeable time to instruct/assist the new buyer in transitioning to 'Norseman.'
